    Die Geschichte vom

    Hotel OGRIS AM SEE

Eine familiäre Erfolgsgeschichte

The Hotel OGRIS AM SEE has been in existence for over 70 years and three generations. After numerous conversions, extensions and renovations, it is now a modern 4* boutique hotel with twelve individually designed rooms, a spa area with panoramic sauna and roof terrace - unique in Velden am Wörthersee.

Paul and Herta Ogris built the guesthouse with six rooms in the early 1950s. In the following years, they extended the building and added a breakfast room.

Their daughter Lore Meyer has been running the "Seehaus Ogris" since the early 1970s. After several extensive renovations, the business was categorized as a 4-star Hotel Garni.

In 2010, architect Astrid Meyer-Hainisch took over the Hotel OGRIS AM SEE. In collaboration with the Velden-based architecture firm ARCH+MORE, she transformed the hotel into a modern hotel where contemporary design meets 1950s charm. For fifteen years, Astrid Meyer-Hainisch and her dedicated team have been running the family business in the third generation.
