ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

Where can I park my car on arrival at the hotel?
You can stop directly in front of the hotel for loading and unloading on arrival and departure.

Where can I park my car during my vacation?
During your stay, one parking space (per room) is available free of charge in our own locked parking lot (five minutes' walk from the hotel).

Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?
Yes, we have a charging station (11 kWh) directly at the hotel where you can charge your electric car for a fee.

Can I also arrive by train?
Velden is on the Südbahn line and has its own train station. We will be happy to pick you up from Velden station free of charge by arrangement.

What is the earliest time we can arrive?
You can arrive from 12 noon and park your car in our parking lot. We will store your luggage for you until your room is ready.

How long is reception open?
Our reception is open until 8 pm. If you arrive later, you will receive an access code for the key box in which your room key is kept by email in advance.

When are the rooms ready for occupancy?
Our double rooms are available from 4 pm at the latest on the day of arrival.

How long can we use the room on the day of departure?
We ask you to vacate the room by 10:30 am.

Can we still use the bathing jetty and parking lot after check-out?
On the day of departure, you can still use the bathing jetty until 12 noon and leave your car in our parking lot until 12 noon.

Can we store our luggage at the hotel after check-out?
You can leave your luggage with us until 12 noon on the day of departure.

We would like to stay until the evening on the day of departure, is that possible?
Subject to availability, a late check-out can be booked on request.

Are there vegetarian or vegan options at breakfast?
Our breakfast offers a varied selection of regional and/or organic products. We also have freshly prepared options for vegetarians and vegans every day.

When should I make special dietary requirements known?
If you have special dietary requirements, such as gluten-free food, please let us know one week before your arrival.

Can I book the room without breakfast?
All our rooms are offered including breakfast. If you would prefer not to eat our varied breakfast, you can also book just the overnight stay.

How can I order a late riser breakfast?
Please let us know the day before if you would like to sleep in and order a breakfast basket for late risers.

Is there anything to drink in the hotel?
We do not have a hotel bar. You can take cool drinks from the Maxi-Bar in the library at any time for a fee. In the afternoon we serve coffee and, subject to availability, cake to take away to the roof terrace, your room or the bathing jetty.

Are there enough sun loungers and parasols for all guests?
There are 20 sun loungers and 10 parasols available for our guests on our bathing jetty. This is sufficient, as there are never all guests on the jetty at the same time and the sun loungers must not be occupied (with beach towels).

Is there enough space for all guests on the jetty?
We set up the sun loungers in the morning so that there is enough space for everyone. Our guests are also requested to behave in a collegial manner and not to reserve sun loungers.

When is the spa open?
The panorama sauna and steam bath can be used by appointment between 2 and 8 pm. These are then reserved exclusively for you for two hours.

How can I book the private spa?
On request, our spa is open exclusively for you from 8 pm to 10 pm for a fee. This includes Prosecco, fresh fruit and a summery sauna fragrance for the infusion.

Are bikes available for hire at the hotel?
We hire out 24-speed trekking bikes for a fee and city bikes free of charge, subject to availability.

How can I book Sunrise Yoga on the jetty?
Please register at reception by 6 pm the day before. The course fee of 15 Euros must be paid directly to Nina.

How can I use the bike garage?
If you want to store your bike or SUP in our garage, you will receive a key at reception so that you can access it at any time.

How do I get the Wörthersee PLUS Card?
Our guests receive the Wörthersee PLUS Card free of charge on arrival. It offers many discounts for activities and excursion destinations in the Wörthersee - Rosental region.

Where can I get tips for things to do?
We will be happy to give you personal recommendations for things to do in the region at reception. We also have maps and information material on hiking trails and cycle routes.

What can I do in Velden and the surrounding area when it rains?
On rainy days there is plenty to see in the region apart from a visit to Klagenfurt and Villach. We are happy to advise our guests personally according to their interests.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply.

Notwithstanding the above, the following cancellation conditions apply: Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 30 days before arrival. If canceled up to 7 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the total price and within 7 days before arrival 70% of the total price. In the event of non-arrival, 90% of the total price is due as a cancellation fee. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the total price of the stay will be charged. Just in case, we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
